In this video, we continue our AI-assisted site design workflow by exporting GIS parcel boundaries directly into a workable CAD file using ChatGPT.
Watch step-by-step as we prompt ChatGPT to generate a DXF file containing the closed parcel boundary with NAD83 State Plane coordinates. Then, we import the DXF into Civil 3D, configure the drawing coordinate system (Florida State Plane West Zone, US Survey Foot), enable the Geolocation tab, and overlay Bing Aerial imagery to verify the property line placement for our preliminary site concept layout.
