To create a straightforward footprint from which to grade in this exercise, utilize the feature line stepped offset command.
A building pad is shown in two vertically aligned viewports on the drawing you will use for this course. The building pad is displayed in plan view in the viewport on the right. In the appropriate viewport, you will design the building pad. Model view of the building pad is seen in the left viewport. As you work, you'll utilize this viewport to monitor the design's progress.
